Joe Pool Lake
Fishing Report

The current record for Largemouth Bass on Joe Pool Lake is 14.45 pounds, 26.75 inches. That fish was caught by Rick Vallejo in April of 2008. You’ll find various types of habitat and structure throughout Joe Pool Lake. Timber was left in the upper third of both arms of the lake when it was filled back in the late eighties. While the lower end was cleared, large piles of brush were constructed and other features, like bridges and road beds, were also left as structure.  It's not easy to find a current fishing report for this reservoir, so bookmark this page if you want to pattern the Bass on Joe Pool.
