Lake Murray Fishing Reports

About Lake Murray

Part of Lake Murray State Park, the oldest state park in Oklahoma, Lake Murray is located in south central Oklahoma, near Ardmore. Named for Oklahoma Governor William H. Murray, the lake was created by damming Anadarche and Fourche Maline Creeks.

Fishing Lake Murray

The clear spring-fed water of Lake Murray makes sight fishing fairly easy. If you are angling for largemouth, you'll want to stick to the north end of the lake, specifically the shallow areas where you'll find grass, reeds, and other structure.
