About Powell River
Our Lake Pro Brad Pennington fishes a section of Powell River that is in Lee County, Virginia. Here, two large mountain streams called the North Fork and South Fork meet to form the river.
Fishing Powell River
In this cold mountain water Smallmouth Bass thrive along with Walleye and some very large Muskie. It is also very plentiful in panfish of Bluegill and Redeye (Rock Bass) and the occasional Largemouth can be caught.
