(10/5/23) Water temps 95, water clarity 2-5ft
Had a friend ask me to go fish squaw creek with him and while we tried to force a bite in various areas all over the lake with various techniques, the only consistency we could generate was dragging a worm where we found cooler water and good contour. Given we didn't try this technique in the mentioned area until about 2:30pm I would have to estimate by the rate which we were catching them that you could catch about 30ish if you spent all day in this area fishing this technique. We were able to find a pocket off the main lake where we caught one fish on an underspin. The area may have had some runoff from rain the previous night providing slightly cooler water temps. Entering into the creek area there was a huge population of forage which should provide for some healthy fish in the coming months as temps fall
