Designed with the Fish Device FD Guard System (PAT.) in mind, the body structure has been completely redesigned. The FD Guard can be attached and detached with a single touch, allowing you to tackle cover from shallow to bottom without fear. Unlike the ultra-thin deep vibe IK Piranha, which is primarily designed for keeping the depth, the FD Vibe was developed primarily for use in shallow flats such as the extremely shallow dredged areas of Lake Kasumigaura and small ponds.
Its greatest feature is its ability to efficiently avoid cover such as pilings, stumps, laydowns, rock formations, and tetrapods, which are the areas where vibration lures typically struggle. It exhibits overwhelmingly wide-area, high-speed search capabilities even in areas with sparse fish populations, and surpasses other lures with its speed of deployment without fear of snagging.
The common problem of reduced action in guarded vibration lures is completely eliminated by a specially designed lure that identifies the optimal point unaffected by turbulent water currents, and by the aero fins (second lip) on the side of the body. It delivers sharp vibrations and a clear sound.
In its factory setting, this lure is configured to exhibit high cover avoidance performance when retrieved. In slightly deeper flat areas, spreading the FD guard and tilting it towards the tail improves its ability to stand up on flat bottoms. This also makes it possible to perform lift-and-fall maneuvers on the bottom, which were difficult with vibration lures.
Furthermore, the quick-change hanger at the tip of the nose allows for easy weight addition. It is suitable for deep-sea fishing and live-sight shooting. The FD Vibe is a new generation vibration lure that can be reeled in without fear of getting caught in cover.
