Following shrimp and crayfish, we focus on the third crustacean bait: crabs.
Crabs are a common food source in areas where they live, such as rivers, reservoirs, and ponds. While there are many lures modeled after crayfish and shrimp, the Drift Crab is a soft bait specifically designed to imitate crabs.
In addition to wacky rigging, it is also compatible with a wide range of rigs using offset hooks, such as leaderless down shot and free rig. Even at the bottom, the legs will subtly wiggle with the slightest current, attracting bass.
The limbs attached to the left and right sides are enveloped in water currents, deflecting and deflecting them, each performing complex actions to create alluring waves. The flattened body, which imitates a crab, uses its left and right arms as balancers to maintain a horizontal posture while slowly falling. It looks exactly like a real crab. To replicate the unique fall speed of a crab—neither too slow nor too fast—the body features a recess on the underside, creating a body design that catches water appropriately.
