It all started when bass fishing parents, Laura & Kevin, wanted to read their daughter a book with fewer princesses and unicorns and more fishing lures and tackle boxes. With the 2020 global pandemic giving Laura some extra time on her hands, she went back to the creative writing days of her youth and brought Layla’s Big Bass to life.
