Lake Nocona is classified as the fourth-best bass fishing lake in Texas. The current record for largemouth on Lake Nocona is 13.40 pounds, 27.25 inches and was caught in 1977 by Tracy Fincher. Bass fishing on Nocona is good year-round. As far as aquatic vegetation goes, you'll find water willow, cattail, America Pondweed and American lotus. As for structure, you'll find rip-rap along the dam and standing timber in Farmers Creek.

guys this video is going to be a fishing report over Lake Nocona Tim is our Lake Pro to get us this information he's also the tackle manager here at Lake Pro tackle so guys stop by talk to Tim Tim and I um you know it's awesome time of the year to go out and catch a big fish and that's exactly what he did he said he was throwing a black and blue Rage craw the big size and just dragging it on the bottom on one of his offshore Rock piles and it almost immediately got bit caught a seven pounder um actually over over a seven pounder and around 10 foot of water uh water temps right now around 52 and the visibility is pretty clean so he said he also got a couple bites non big bites but a couple other bites on a spro rock crawler as well and around seven foot of water so guys I hope this video helped y'all if you go out there um if it did make sure to leave a like uh if you're on YouTube subscribe to the channel and if you want to see the exact colors that he was using another base that work well on the Kona head over to the website look right below the video and you'll find those there thanks for watching
