Lake Ray Roberts
Fishing Report

Ray Roberts offers excellent fishing opportunities for Largemouth Bass, Crappie and White Bass. You'll find about 2,000 acres of standing timber in the upper reaches of both major arms of Ray Roberts and there's rip-rap along the damn and near the bridge crossing. There's some aquatic vegetation along the shorelines plus quite a bit of structure that was constructed before the lake's impoundment. The current record Largemouth Bass on Ray Roberts was caught by Shannon Elvington in March, 2015, and was 26.25 inches long and weighed 15.18 pounds. The record Hybrid Striped Bass was caught in June of 2020 and was 28 inches long, and weighed 11.1 pounds.
